Audubon Chamber of Commerce 2012 Programs
The Audubon Chamber of Commerce will continue to arrange, sponsor, and promote events that have been very successful in the past.
These include:
ANNUAL BANQUET
COMMUNITY GARAGE SALES
FLIGHT BREAKFAST
ANNUAL RETAIL “NO BULL SALE”
OPERATION T-BONE
CHRISTMAS PROMOTIONS
2012 GOALS
1. Continue to work cooperatively with other community organizations on events and activities in the community.
2. Increase awareness of the activities of the Chamber by newsletter, newspaper articles, window décor, posters, special meetings, by updating our website, etc.
3. Sponsor a membership drive that invites all businesses and individuals in the community to join the Chamber.
4. Establish a community volunteer bank where individuals can register their time, talents and services.
5. Coordinate and put on line the community calendar and encourage organizations to check and post events on the calendar.
6. Work to develop fundraising events that will help support the activities of the Chamber.
7. Update our computer programs to help simplify our record keeping and budget.
8. Support the retail businesses of our community by working on ideas and events that develop and encourage tourism in our community.
9. Add opportunities for chamber membership to come together and have fellowship and share ideas.
10. Take advantage of grants available for our community activities that will help meet our goals.
11. Commit to working hard to make Audubon a great community to work, live, shop and raise a family.
12. Recognize individuals and businesses in our community for their Chamber affiliation.
